You got that right. However, even I, with all my genius, am no match for a city plan with its parking and set backs and fencing and water retention and lighting and shrub, and random tree quantity requirements. Oh and did I mention brick color?

^true. if the city planning and zoning is flawed, then crap is allowed to get built.

A lot of planning / zoning does not only allow for crap it actually forces crap to be built.

That is Emerson Place on the east side. This neighborhood actually had several sets or row houses at one time. Sadly most are gone. These were in very bad shape at one time too. I don't know what condition they are in now.
