Tiruchirapalli (TRZ) International Airport
Hello Folks....I understand that a new airport has been build in Tiruchi. I also heard that the runways were extended. Apparently google map points to old pictures. Does anyone has the new Runway and Taxiway layout diagrams? Since i am modeling Tiruchi Airport (VOTR) for a flight sim, i hope these data will be very useful.

Gentlemen, Thank you for your replies...Thank you for your valuable information.
I am looking for the runway and taxiway layout diagram. If you refer to google map, it is actually showing you the old image which is actually outdated as of now. In fact they have lengthened the runway and new taxiways were laid. I was wondering if any of you have the layout digram for this.... Thanks a million Cheers! |

the terminal looks nice on the land side. Any pictures of the airside, apron, and the runways. The viewing gallery has been opened according to a news report. Expecting updated pics from trichy forumers.

 from the news a fortnight ago in the trichy edition of The Hindu it seems the terminal will be ready for operation in a couple of months. But i heard that the old terminal is already having an under-staffed CISF batallion to cope up with the international immigration operations as well as the airport security. At one point of time the airport could not serve more than a certain no of flights per day due to the the understaffing. Hope such a scenario will not be led to rise in the future.
