Bacolod hotels gearing up for Masskara

In preparation for the coming Grand MassKara celebration in October, three new impressive hotels, L'Fisher Chalet, West Town Hotel and East View Hotel are getting ready to serve out-of-town guests and VIP clients.

Last Saturday was the opening and blessing of the East View Hotel in Villamonte. Fr. Noli Que and Fr. Emil of the Queen of Peace Church blessed every corner of the establishment.

The architect is Chick Garcia, while interior design and furniture were by Cathy Hagad. The rest were the ideas of Jan Christopher Chua, son of businessman Johnny and Delia Chua.

Known to the family as JC, he got interested in cooking during his high school days and later continued his studies in Manila at the Center of Culinary Arts and at the French Culinary Institute in New York .

The sixth floor of the hotel is the upper deck where one can see a full view of Bacolod City and the new landmark, the Government Center , while the rest are rooms, and a function room.
