The best skyline in the European Union (EU) II

It's time for a new version of this thread. The old one had a weird poll and it's time we have a good poll with just a few cities that have good skylines. With a poll including these cities it's also easier to see wich city is favourite, instead of looking at everybody's post. I've included 8 cities in the poll that where named very often in the old thread. You can also post pictures from another city or give your own list with best skyline cities in the EU. Here are 8 pictures of 8 cities.

Frankfurt am Main - Germany

Rotterdam - the Netherlands

London - UK

Paris - France

Warsaw - Polen

Let's vote and discuss!

What's the point of this new thread? The old one had more poll-options, what I think is a good thing. Instead of excluding cities you should have just included more cities. I also don't get how you chose the cities for your new poll. You excluded Barcelona for example which had 19 votes, but you let Birmingham in it, which had just 6 votes.

My overall conclusion is...

It would make more sense to have Barcelona like you mentioned, but this is a vast improvement over the old one which didn't have Rotterdam as an option. Even better would be a best skyline in Europe.

Moscow, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Rotterdam, London, Paris, and Warsaw. I'd consider these 7 to be in contention. The others just don't have skylines to compete with these ones.

^Damn, I forgot Moscow and Istanbul.....and Barcelona. And I'd better leave Liverpool out. It would be nice if someone could change the poll...

What if you just made a new one and let this one slowly drift to the back pages? The new one could be a best in Europe rather than best in the EU. Having membership in the EU is an odd criteria since there are a number of European nations who aren't included.

Benidorm is ugly as hell!
It's the best example how you can destroy culture with terrible urban development!

It might be advisable to just include cities that have a legitimate shot at placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Too many choices, and it gets bogged down.

I think you made some right choices, but would have dropped Liverpool and Birmingham in favour of Istanbul and Moscow. Barcelona is a great city, but has a lot of work to do to qualify for a skyline rating. There's not much of a case for Madrid either. In addition, you might consider calling it a 'Best in Europe', since Istanbul and Moscow aren't in EU countries.

I'd go with these:

Istanbul
Moscow
Warsaw
Frankfurt
Rotterdam
Paris
London

I voted Frankfurt, currently it probably is. But because you posted the ugliest picture you possibly could have for London, I'm going to post more images of my capital city:

i don't think he posted the ugliest pic of london.
it is a pic where you can see both skylineparts in one pic close to each other. well, ok, the quality could be better. but the view itself is excellent.
