In terms of density, Rotterdam, Paris and Benidorm are ahead. But Rotterdam needs three or four 200+es, Benidorm looks like a cheap tasteless thirdworldish skyline and Paris will be the very best in just a few years if Frankfurt doesn't go ahead with projects like Bahntower, Tower one, Marieninsel and Max. London shouldn't have devided it's skyline into two halves. But thus London may have TWO good skylines in about 20 years and beat anything out!

Very nice and artistic shots of R'dam. I think in spring or summer I'll go there. Then I will make a R'dam picture thread.

London 2015...

There were a number of major construction projects already going ahead prior to the economic chaos.

A vision for a 450m high tower! The City Tower!
We don't know if it is for real, and we don't know the status. But just look at it.

We had such a vision before, a +/- 500m tower. Let's hope this one will get built, although the chance is very low.

all the future skylines of these mentioned cities seem to be smaller or the same size of frankfurt today.

are there any _actual_ illustrations of possible future skylines of frankfurt around ? because after my knowledge they've got up to 2-4 skyscrapers per/year in the pipe.

makes a minimum of 10 addidtional buildings in the next 4-5 years.

I believe there are. But 2-4 per year is quite much, altough Rotterdam is having a huge construction boom right now with +/- 12 in 2008/2009

for frankfurt there are already = 8 under construction , 2 under renovation, 6 definitely in the pipe, and 7 proposed.

so 2-4 per year sounds pretty realistic to me.

the yearly average is 2 days of snow. this record breaking winter it was atleast 2-3 weeks! if you want to see snow you usually have to go to the taunus mountains near frankfurt.
