'HSBC' and 'Citigroup Center' aren't that great. They match witch each other, but on it selfs I think they aren't better as 'de Delftse Poort', 'de Maastoren' or 'de Millenniumtoren'.
30 St Mary Axe blows any highrises in Rotterdam out of the water. Deal with it.
Not to mention we have the legendary Tower 42, the new Strata building, the Willis Building, and Lloyds of London, among many others.

SASH SCF, I only noticed now. You got me wrong. I meant to match Frankfurt, Paris and London as well. Sorry these 3 are in a whole different level comparing to Rotterdam and even among them I find London to have the best ones in terms of quality, as I have said many times before in this thread.

I'm not sure about the buildings but as whole it is certainly the best modern skyline in Italy. It's not in the poll though.

Don't forget to call New Orleans a quality building, altough it isn't finished yet.

Personally i think Frankfurt has the best skyline, but London has better buildings. I don't like Paris at all, it looks a bit tacky and generally ugly to me.

Here are a few of the lesser voted for cities.

Liverpool:

Birmingham:

And a bonus one of Manchester:

Not sure who their by, but their not mine!

Of these 3 I like Liverpool the most. First because seaside skylines are the nices anyway and second because the buildings stand closer together (at least it seems from that perspective) thatt makes it look more planned, dense and organized....

I never realised just how good Liverpool's skyline is. Obviously it's no match for the major cities such as Frankfurt and London, but it's still a great skyline in its own right.

Really? Then Rotterdam´s skyline must really suck, because most high-rise buildings in that city look like towerblocks compared to the ones I just posted.

If this is One Canada Square, than you must have read, that I like this one.

I would not define this one Highrise, but it is excellent architecture.

The one in front is no Hihgrise, perhaps it is Midrise. I spoke about Highrise or Skyscrapers. Besides that, I don't really like this one. Sorry.
The one in the back I don't know. Are there any other pictures of it?

I don't give a shit what you think about R'dam. I find it a nice and very modern City with a for European standards good looking Skyline.
The 4th best in the EU (after Paris, F'furt and London)

the building under construction is Strata, one of my all time fave skyscrapers and its not complete yet! Check it out, you wont be disapointed. Really shows you the quality of London apartment towers.

I'd say warsaw was the 4th best in Europe, then a toss up between Rotterdam and Madrid because they are both missing something (be it density or height). I think the best European skyline pictures in this thread are ones that really are European, like the above one of Paris where the historic nature of our cities are mixed with the modern skyscrapers. Its what makes our skyline unique in the world.

Don't think density, because R'dam is more dense than Warsaw. It could be the height, but if you look at Paris for example, you recognize that the Buildings aren't much heigher and still it is top 2.
Warsaw has 2 or 3 great highrises which are even better than any highrise in R'dam, but I prefer the R'dam Skyline above the Skyline of Warsaw.
Madrid has 4 of the best skyscrapers in Europe, but the Skyline is not even in my top 7.
