I dont think Paris, Rotterdam or Warsaw have them, they mostly just have boxes. But if you consider them high quality highrises, then you have the rigth to your own opinion.

I mean quality in terms of design and materials, box doesnt mean bad design, not to mention that Youre generalising.

I don't know what your opinion is. But I think the buildings in Rotterdam have a different architecture then other cities.
Think about The Red Apple for example, very weird but awesome design.

you should really check those countless buildings in other cities, the midrise architecture in rotterdam is very middle-rate or below average compared to other cities, kinda economical midrise fastfood.

but rotterdam has nice spots too, so no bashing here, but not in the "skyline" case.

but i understand your local patriotism.

@craperskys - I know. That's why Rotterdam is so different.
It's mostly mid rises, but they are working on it, very hard.
They finally agreed (after 20 years) that the public spaces are lacking quality.
So every tower that's being built from now on should fit in the streets.
They made a lot of mistakes during the rebuilding of Rotterdam after WWII.
Some towers even take 5 years before even they want to agree with the design.

The city of Rotterdam also wants more people to go and live in the city center.
That's why Rotterdam is one of the few world wide cities with almost all
residential skyscrapers in the city center and around it.

Shame how the river front seems almost derelict in Warsaw, bodies of water can make a great element in cities. eg. Thames, Seine & Main.

well for me... it depends of what is the "best" for you ( architecture, height, density, blablabla...)

Height - Frankfurt
Density - Benidorn
My personal favorite - Paris

The worst - London (for being the largest city on the UE, and a global-city) However there's a lot of new buldings coming up, i hope it get better in 5-6 years.

I think Rotterdam is doing a good thing about highrise. In comparing with Frankfurt, Paris, London, Warsaw or Madrid. Rotterdam isn't a huge city and does'nt play a huge rol in the Netherlands. The Dutch financialdistrict is in Amsterdam and all the govermentbuildings are in The Hague. Rotterdam has a lot of residential towers.

But my highrise top 5:
1.Frankfürt
2.Paris
3.Warshau
4.London
5.Rotterdam
