We say "le grand Paris", we don't say "la grande Paris".

It's behind me how one can put that rather limited Frankfurt's skyline
over La Defence. It must be a question of one's religion or sth...

So:
1. La Defense
2. Frankfurt

a huge gap and:
3. London
----------------

All others need solar years to be even included in the competition.

I have a little shrine of Frankfurt skyline where I say my prays every day

But yeah, I guess it's because Franfurt skyline is taller, more central and more sexy.

I hadn't seen the Heron Tower pic before. It will soon overtake Tower 42 in the City cluster.

Simple – because many people, like myself, believe that Frankfurt has a much better skyline than Paris. OK, La Defense has density, but that’s it. It’s lacking height, something that gives the skylines of both Frankfurt and London an advantage. I like Paris's skyline, but I believe that Frankfurt and London have the edge - Frankfurt has good height and the cluster looks great. London has height, and loads of world-famous landmarks such as the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye, which all contribute to the skyline. Paris has a great cluster, but it just needs to get a bit higher - just my opinion, don't get me wrong, I still like Paris.

la defense is in fact a decentralized cluster and it doesn't offer a skyline for the whole city of paris.

it's just a (compared to the sheer size of paris) small district... simple as that

London has height
Sorry but, till today, that's not true !!!

London (u/c included)

skyscraperpage.com

Paris (u/c included, except Tour Generali (preliminary works) & Tour Eiffel of course)

skyscraperpage.com

Today, London & Paris are relatively equal in term of "height" BUT Paris has much, much more highrise buildings (100m+, 90m+ and 80m+) than London has !!

and loads of world-famous landmarks
Yes, unlike Paris .........
And that's maybe because of this, if so much cities all around the world tried to copy our Monuments and our architecural styles (even in Britain and even in London ), and NOT your "world-famous landmarks"..... !!!!
