But to be honest I do think that Rotterdam has a better skyline then Madrid. You might not see this from the pictures, but when you're in real life in Rotterdam its looks great. Many mid rises, and a few highrises, but they look way higher because there are so much of them. Don't forget that its just a small city compared to the other cities in this poll. I do not say this because Im Dutch.

Frankfurt, London, Paris are way better then all the other cities that have been talked about in this treath. Moscow is impressive too, altough I think it isn't as nice as the Frankfurt, London, Paris, but I won't judge them because I never visited that city. I think there has been talked enough about the skylines, its so funny when someone says 'I don't like that skyline' someone of that city/country gets mad, come on guys you wont agree.
I've seen great pictures in this treath, I want more! (skylines offcourse not only buildings)
- Moscow isn't in the EU.
- Rotterdam has more inhabitants than Frankfurt, which is actually the smallest of all the cities in this poll.

Well, that's not correct. Rotterdam has 584.000 inhabitants, Frankfurt has 664.000 (although most of us here in Frankfurt consider it as a little village with a skyline, it is not that small ).

See you in 2012 when the deck is reshuffled. The end of this thread was really annoying. But it was still a pleasure to watch your pictures And sorry if anybody felt offended by me.

More of Madrid

Rotterdam's skyline better than Madrid? No, thanks.

Ah! And for those who claim that the problem of Madrid is that all skyscrapers/highrises are too far away, and it isn't a dense skyline, or have to force the photographic to look like they are all together, say that in some cities, something like that happens (not as much as Madrid, but similar). A clear example of how a well-made picture, from a good position, changes the actual image of a skyline: Frankfurt.

Frankfurt from a good position:

And the skyline of Frankfurt of truth:

Even the skyline of Frankfurt is better than Madrid, of course.

Why don't you stop bitching and stinking around here? Obviously Madrid was the big loser of this poll since it was kicked out due to too little votes. Shouldn't you be at the kindergarten at this time of day?

Wow! Even from it's worst angle Frankfurt has such a much better skyline than Madrid from it's best angles!
And that even with Skyper (160m) , Opernturm (170m) and other buildings still missing on that old photo!

After about 100 pages, Didactic Javier came back to teach us bitchig-around-lessons and telling us how everything in Europe is inferior to glorious Madrid. This IS amazing, isn't it?

I meant Warsaw offcourse, shame on me!!
And the other part is already said, Frankfurt has more inhabitants.

Anyways as I said, it was my opinion, yes Madrid has higher towers, but when youre there its not as impressive as the other cities because they have way less midrise/highrise buidlings.

well i'd say kill it, there is obviously nothing to expect, except pictures or renders of estates, dutch bands on rooftops, a bitching spanish guy, and pics or renders of skyline sections and possible/impossible future skylines.

there are actually here and there a bunch of buildings under construction, 2011/12 is maybe a much better timeframe for a topic like this.

...wenns am schönsten ist.
