I have to argue that, manchester has a few talls like brum and liverpool but they are very spread apart not forming any skyline from what i have seen. at least brum and liverpool have enough density for a rather small cluster of highrises even if it is not to the same standards as other cities on here. realistically none of them should be included on this as they can not compete at present with some of these european cities but it doesnt mean they dnt deserve a mention. i hope people on here are happy to see thers more to the UK than just London.

What about Benidorm, in Spain? Perhaps the buildings are ugly, but the skyline is superb:

Liverpool? Birmingham? Eindhoven? Better, Benidorm

Some pictures of Essen/Germany. In my opinion the skyline looks better than in Vilnius, Eindhoven, Portsmouth and Liverpool.

This data is several years old, it wouldn't be suprising that most cities have more high-rises today.

I think isn't old. In Valencia there are 7 buildings over 90m since last year. So the list is correct

You better give us the names and the heights of these buildings in Manchester and Leeds.
I couldn't find them. They aren't on that list if they are not finished yet.

That was my point, the old list had too many for leeds and manchester.

Manchester
Beetham tower 157m (to the roof)
CIS tower 118m
City tower 108m
Arndale house 90m

Leeds
Bridgewater place 110m
Sky plaza 103m

Please correct if i am wrong.

I know they seem pathetically low numbers compared to other cities on here but the UK seems to be anti talls so its quite an achievement for us to have this many.

Id say height has less to do with a pleasing skyline than variations in height. Warsaw looks good because the towers stand out on the skyline, not because they are massively tall. Liverpool has a better skyline than Manchester even though Manchester has taller buildings.
