there is a cave in France that kicks skyline ass. if it were a city it would be the best skyline in the world without question. here is the link, http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgur...icial%26sa%3DN

I see Frankfurt and think Atlanta, then I see Paris and think Los Angeles and then I see Warsaw and think Tulsa and I'm not slamming any of them. It's weird. Currently though I think I like Paris with Frankfurt a close second. I think that if London builds everything that they potentially are planning they will no doubt have the best in European Union but Moscow (understanding not part of the Union) is coming up close...we'll see.

There are very few REAL skylines in EU.
1.Frankfurt
2.Paris
3.Warsaw
4.Rotterdam
London is.. well it has some fat boxes, but I dont findem interesting, nor createable of decent skyline. Cos of their fatness look smaller than really are and very "original" box-shape(not all, but most) doesnt makeem interesting. You know dear London supporters I can understand You, most of You are british, so its completely understandable that You will support this city, though You come from GREAT britain so it wouldnt be nice to be beaten by some central european city like Warsaw(I know You find it eastern european, but thats just most of You are ignorant)

The Hague - In 3 years time the white tower and the twin towers won't be visible anymore from this side. Because they are building new towers!

Yes, we all know that. It just seems like a very bizarre criteria just to include countries that are part of a political/economic grouping. People beyond Europe tend to see Europe rather than the EU. They don't differentiate between Norway(non EU) and Sweden(EU), Switzerland(non EU) and Austria(EU). It's your thread, so it's really not any of my business what criteria you want to use.

For the EU only, I'd pick these:

1. Frankfurt
2. Warsaw
3. Paris
4. Rotterdam
5. London

Birmingham's skyline is equal to rotterdam's but nobody likes to admit it because its a Uk city.Birminghams got higher proposals aswell and better architecture proposed and built.

^Rotterdam looks more spread out and the Netherlands is known for it's good and unique architecture. Look at The Red Apple for example.

@isaidso - Since we're talking about the European Union here there are only cities in the poll that are in the EU. Not Europe, EU. I just continued the old thread, that one also didn't included Moscow or Istanbul.

Yes, I know. That's fine. There's a best in Europe thread already any way.

i would say frankfurt as #1, because it has averagely the most "skyscrapers".
reminds me of atlanta, but frankfurt has probably a tad more skyscrapers.

then London as #2. i really love the egg there, not to mention the fact that London is one of my top 5 cities in Europe.

then la defense as #3 it has a solid dense midrise skyline, not the nicest architecture ( brick style buildings) but really dense.

then the rest

I didn't post my top 3;

#1 - Frankfurt > Because of the high skyscrapers and the nice setting.
#2 - Rotterdam > Biggest change of a city ever. Nice architecture and good development.
#3 - London > Nice towers and I like the different districts with skyscrapers.
