^Frankfurt has about 654.000 inhabitants in the city. And about 2 million in the wide metro area. And the Frankfurt/Rhein area has 5,3 million people, but that area is huge.

Just like Rotterdam has about 585.000 inhabitants in the city, about 1 million people in the wide metro area. And 7 million in the same wide area as the Frankfurt/Rhein area.

Not again! What is a "wide metro area"?
Municipial: 0,7
Urban area / Agglo: 2,3
Metro: 5,3

The vote must be rigged. How could Frankfurt be better than London?

@Isek - I call it a 'wide metro area' because the area is huge. It's almost as big as the Netherlands. So than you can say Rotterdam has 16,5 million in the metro area

But thats stupid.Frankfurt is never included in the rhine-ruhr area anyway. Its miles away. You can't even say frankfurt is part of the "wide metro area" anyway. No cities in rhine-ruhr centre around frankfurt.
Have a look for your-self.
http://maps.google.com/
This is the rhein ruhr metro area which isn't really a metro area anyway because the cities don't link.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rheinruhr.png

Thats like me saying Birmingham is part of Londons metro area.

You guys confuse Rhine-Main area with Rhine-Ruhr, it is not the same thing.
Effectively Frankfurt is not a part Rhine-Rurhr area but Rhine-Main area with cities like Wiesbaden, Offenbach...
This area is more centralized than Rhine Rurh as Frankfurt is the largest and most important employement center with 600,000 jobs.

Because Frankfurt has a better skyline, don't be blind, actually it is Frankfurt that host the best skyline in Europe.
