That's maybe one of these angles why Frankfurt's skyline often is compared to Atlanta's skyline

Milan will be impressive, but not the best, because other cities have numerous projects and constructions going on as well. Top 5 European skylines won't change much.

no cheating. A photoshop-illustration exercise.
And a kind of puzzle picture. Find all seven U/C and Proposed projects which I have drawn inside and have some fun by doing it for the next two minutes.

I don't think so, what i like of Milan's projects is that they are going to change so many areas of the city as probabily no other city is doing. Moreover i also like the great quality of Milan's projects. In the next 2 or 3 years many buildings will be completed.. and before 2015 many others. Maybe this situation is helped by the Expo 2015, with a wide range of works that are not including only skyscrapers. Honestly no other European project was impressing me more than the CityLife project in Milan. I don't know if it's skyline will be the best, but i am sure that it will be easily in the top 5, for what i see also before 2015.

I'm sure Milan will look quite amazing by 2015. Not the best for sure but a lot better than now. It's great to see that this city, Italy's economic capital, is having some decente highrise projects. Italians seem pretty conservative regarding tall buildings.

i don't need to get a comparison, i can make it by myself giving a look all around. Milan was sleeping for so many years that now was obliged to wake up. Honestly i dont think that in Europe there is a city where they will work more than in Milan, and in so many areas of the city, in the next four or five years.

You are right. Just think that the Milan's most popular highrise was built in the fifties and finished in the 1960, i think. The only city in Italy that has a lot of tall buildings is Naples, but something changed lately and there are many projects under costruction in many cities.

Well, easy to say when the city start to change today.. 30/40 years after the others....
But, anyway, you should take a look at the projects/proposals and u/c in paris (not only in La Défense, far from that), and what about London, for example, which is also in perpetual evolution !!

I think Milan will have a hard stand if it wants to have the same building activity as London or Paris...
Surely the impact will be more visible in Milan as it will have 3 (?) new buildings taller than the current tallest, while building in dense La Défense area doesn't have such a huge impact on the skyline.
