The first pic of La Defense is really nice. The skyscrapers at the corners of the skyline are beautiful, they should keep that kind of architecture in the new projects. Sometimes trying to go outside the box can be worst.

No , unfortunately .

But , here , in europe , i have always learn in school that favelas was extremely poor and doesn't have any infrastructure . That's why i'm very surprising when you say that 95 % of the favelas have electricity ...
And 2 or 3 pictures will not prove that all favelas have electricity
but back to the topic ...

Well I have seen on TV that they HAVE electricity, and even telephone and sometimes internet: All of it illegally and stolen from others. It is easy since most of SA doesn't have subterranean cables:

It's not about the angle, it is indeed spread out. Den Haag is more compact, that's what I meant.

So is Frankfurt from some angles. The best pics/shots of Frankfurt are from one certain spot. Don't know the name, but it is from a bridge east of the city center.
The best spot for Rotterdam would be 'van Brienenoordbrug' (The van Brienenoord Bridge). It is a pitty that you can't take good pictures from there, because the in real it are 2 bridges and the one you can ride over with your bike is the one which is just behind the other bridge.
When you pass the bridge by car, than the view is really magnificent.
There are some pictures on this forum, which are taken by some one who drove by car, but until now no body captured it so good as it is in real.

Bullshit. Den Haag is not more compact! Den Haag has only one cluster (area) and that is around Central station. It has 4 or 5 ! Highrises (Hoftoren 141m, Prinsenhof 109m, Castalia 104m, Zurich Toren 88m en Witte Anna 77m)
Rotterdam has 4 of these clusters (areas):
1. Weena cluster (Area): Delftse Poort 152m, Milenium Toren 135m, Weena Toren 106m, Weena Center 105m.
2. Wijnhaven cluster (Area): Red Apple 128m, Waterstadtoren 109m, Scheepmaker Toren 88m, Willemswerf 88m, Wijnhave 86m, Harvour Village 85m etc...
3. Blaak cluster (Area): Fortis 107m, Coopvaert 105m, Schieland Toren 101m, Robeco 95m.
4. Wilhelmina Pier/Kop van Zuid cluster (Area): Maastoren 165m, Montevideo, 152m, World Port Center 123m, Toren Op Zuid 97m, Wilhelmina Toren 90m).

Becaus R'dam has 4 clusters and Den Haag has 1, it looks as if Den Haag is more compact.

I didn#t want to start a discussion here. I meant it in a positive way, when I stated "spread out". In the sense of a long, extensive skyline!

You got it. The skyline doesn't spread out in multiple clusters. That's why it's more compact. Pretty simple, really

The Hague has about 4 highrises (130m+) u/c right now. But it's only 1 cluster, in Rotterdam you have some nice angles. Hoping for some nice shots to post here this afternoon since Queen Mary II arrived this morning in Rotterdam

Wow! Europe does live in a big ignorance about what is going on in the rest of the World. Stolen from who? from their favela neighbours?

No, they steal it from the overland electric masts and make cables into their favellas. They even showed how it worked. Some better off favellas do have running water and electricity - but by far not all of them! And still sanitary installations and sewage system is zero as well as waste collecting!
You are just being as childish now as the one guy in another htread who wanted to make people believe Salvador's worst areas are the highrise upper-middle class neighbourhoods of his city!
And back to topic. We are in a European thread about Euroo skylines. Tht's it now!
