Vilnius

Far from the best, but considering the size of the city and the mix of old and new, it definitely stands out.

Vilnius looks great!
The modern architecture fits perfect in this city.
But I see many commieblocks in the background.

Houston's tallest is much taller than Paris' tallest, so why do you use the same scale?

Maybe... but certainly you can't say that by this pic

Anyway I find La Defense much more interesting respect Houson's boring skyline, and even denser

Even though the goal was not to compare the scale, there is no big height difference between the two.
Most skyscrapers in Houston are in the 200m range, and same in La Defense. The tallest in Houston is 305m, which should be equaled in Paris by the Generalli Tower (318m). Current tallest is First tower, 240m at spire.

Feel free to judge for yourself:

Paris : http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?20441019

Actually it is U/C
It is a very heavy 'renovation' of former UAP Tower: you can see it in the pic with 'AXA' brand in its current heigh (and a crane just close)
It is way far from 240m currently

In next future

Are you serious ???

Houston have actualy 14 tower of 200 meters or more and 2 supertalls .
La defense 0 ( one soon )

Houston have 30 tower of 150 meters or more , La defense "only" 15

I really like la defense but Houston is far more impressive ...

more recent pic of the axa tower :

Looks very Canadian. Canary Wharf is a surprise, but I prefer that other cluster in London where Nat West is.

the canary wharf pic is great. personally I think CW is the only cluster in london that could be a contender for EU's best skyline (even though the individual buildings aren't very special).

this is simply not enough, even if all projects would be built:

Perhaps because all these buildings are around a place called Canada Square?

CW is looking good, but some different shapes would be nice, Vilnius is really good concerning 20 years of freedom, free market development and the citiy's size, nice quality towers.
