This is so buttugly it hurts! Terrible the city planners and architects should live their lifetime in jail on top of a mountain with the only view being these ugly buildings piled up!

1. Frankfurt
2. Paris
3. Warsaw
4. London
5. Rotterdam

If Russia ever joined the EU, I'd put Moscow in 3rd spot.

1. Frankfurt - brilliant highrise skyline, obviously the best at the moment. Looks like a proper major city.
2. London - some great skyscrapers along with iconic structures such as the London Eye. Has the potential to the best in the EU in the future.
3. Rotterdam - massive change in the skyline, looks like a proper city now.
4. Paris - good density, but very bland designs and nothing particularly stands out in the cluster for me.
5. Warsaw - some good buildings, skyline could be bigger, but definitely has a skyline worthy of note.

Glad to know you agree with me on that one.
The cluster is bigger than that, I'll have you know, your pic is pretty dated.
And as you say, the designs are not bland, I actually find them to be very nice-looking skyscrapers.
They also look amazing at night time. Here are some photos for you to look at...

So as you said, not bland at all...

And don't forget that I didn't just base my vote for London on Canary Wharf. What about the City cluster, which has expanded greatly over the past few years? The London Eye, the Palace of Westminster, it doesn't just have to be skyscrapers you know. So yeah, second place, London.

I don't agree at all and i think your judgement is just biased , i know La defense have a lot of tower more interesting ( but smaller , it's right ) .

But i don't want to spam this thread so back to the topic .

Sorry but One Canada Square is more iconic than any of Paris skyscrapers.

Baboulinet, you posted the worst possible picture of Canary Wharf just to prove a point that isn't true. As I and others said, the cluster has changed dramatically since then, and One Canada Square is more iconic than anything La Defense can offer. Yeah, La Defense is bigger, but it is just a whole load of chunky midrises, creating a very flat skyline. Canary Wharf has higher towers, more variety and an overall more active skyline.
