Indeed. There isn't a notable connection of Warsaw skyline and the Weichsel/Wisla.
Just as there's no connection of the Seine in Paris and La Defense.

Which is different in Frankfurt with the Main and Londinium with the Thames.

I don't really understand what you mean, knowing that the Seine is right next to La Défense :

You probably have an inaccurate view of where La Défense is located respecting to the Seine. Check out Google Earth or bing maps.

Well, the river just flows by La Defense. Indeed it's close but not into the cluster.

GM: And you didn't really understand what I mean. The river isn't part of the skyline image,
it doesn't add to its 'experience' like it does in London and Frankfurt. Or Rotterdam for that matter.

I see what you mean concerning London and Rotterdam, but water doesn't seem to have much more impact (or presence) in the Frankfurt's skyline than in the Paris' skyline.

If Paris city and La Defense scraper cluster are included as one - which of course they are for all practical purposes - then it is Paris.

I like the modern skyscrapers of Warsaw. But my favourite in the city is still the old style skyscraper. That one is really awesome!
