The new/future tallest building in France (and will remain it for one or two year) :

París y Fráncfort del Meno son los mejores. En particular me gusta más la Defense

Same for me.
Frankfurt has the skyscrapers and the proper 'major city' skyline, and London has not only great skyscrapers, but also a huge number of landmarks, and nothing short of a very interesting skyline.

That's not a picture of the "skyline" considering it only shows 3 or 4 towers out of the 45 currently built in La défense.

This being said, I agree the picture doesn't do justice to the business district with those ugly social housings looking as tall as the business towers behind.

Currently, it's Frankfurt, but I voted for London because of Canary Wharf and the future buildings in the City and Strata (best building going up in Europe and possibly the world in my opinion).

Come on. There are lots (no, thousands) of better buildings out there in Europe.

And def. more iconic ones. Such as the currently UC Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Turning Torso in Malmö, Frankfurt Millennium Tower... Even the SwissRe in London. Or the upcoming Bishopsgate. The Strata doesn't see a Stich against such classy buildings. But I'll leave you some room for your... opinion.

I don't think Strata is the best, but it's certainly up there near the top of the list.

Frankfurt has fantastic and very diverse towers. That alone is enough to consider it fully deserves its first spot on this poll.

This being said, I still believe the district lacks of density. There's actually only a single row of skyscrapers from Messeturm to Commerzbank. We don't see this on skyline picture but we clearly feel it at street level.

La Défense does have density. It is clearly the only really dense skyscraper district in Europe currently. On the other side, La Défense suffers from a bad layout which kills the athmosphere, and also a collection of flat roofs which makes the skyline quite dull from distance.

I'm really curious about what would become La Défense if all the planned skyscrapers are built. I guess it could really have style... but I believe some major upgrade of the esplanade and its immediate surrounding buildings would be necessary to make it really as awesome as it could be.

Paris is the ONLY decent skyline in Europe. Maybe Frankfurt at second. There's no other skyline in Europe. It's funny how people (I'm looking at you Londoners) try to use clever camera angles and lighting conditions to somehow give the impression that their cities also have a skyline. Europeans really need to come to terms with teh fact that most of their cities (except the ones I mentioned) just don't have a skyline, or anything close to it.

(I'm not including Moscow in Europe)

And what's that steel structure inside La Grande Arche? Is it being repaired?
