What I like in La Defense are the pedestrian zones in the core. No noisy roads going through.

This is what I'd call stunning:

I like this London skyline view as well (Canary Wharf from Naval College / Greenwich):

Well OK, they're stunning too. I just happen to love night shots of London, and find them stunning. Just my opinion.
The pic you posted is probably the best angle for Canary Wharf. At the moment, my favourite City angle is this picture

It shows that the City really does have a skyline. I'm sure that it will look better from other angles when the big skyscrapers are done.

CW skyline for me is much better than City. I love those simple, glassy towers

Are there any new highrise buildings proposed for CW?

Yes, quite a lot.

Rather than flooding this page with links, here's a link to a page with all the London projects on it, just search for the ones that are being built in Canary Wharf (Ctrl + F) and check them out.

CW could look like this in the future...

Yes, I agree. This is a great shot of the City skyline. This being said, I would still give credit to Erbe's post in the fact that the other pictures are a lot more ordinary, and not so impressive... even those of Canary Wharf which shows a skyline still lacking in density.

Yeah, I agree with that.
I was more trying to show the city at night rather than a section of the skyline, just to 'show off' and show you all how great it can look at night with all the lights and the orange sky. But yeah, I do agree with erbse's post.

i love those occasional future crystal ball skyline pics, but now i miss some future skyline pics of frankfurt with some ufos and hessians in their mech suits on the streets and such, that would be a great addition... just to give a point to the whole possible future skyline thingy

Nice shot. I didnt knew The Hague was that close to Rotterdam.
In the other hand, Im liking Varsaws skyline more with each picture I see. Its really awesome, and quite unknown here in South America.
About CW in London, the new projects are cool but its a shame the main tower (the one with the triangle shape on top) is gonna loose some protagonism.

Great renders!

I hope that by 2012 we will have Riverside South in advanced stage.
