You might like my favorite NHK documentary series called Eizo no Seiki (映像の世紀, "The Century of Visual"), too. That's about the world (not just Japan) recorded in the 20th century. Some of the episodes, like episode 2 and 5, are fairly strong.



The series was broadcasted in 1995. Too bad we don't see much better programs nowadays.
