Zorg, is this the same one as this one:

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1011271

They both look very similar both being in Nanjing as they have the dragon tail at basement levels. Perhaps twin dragon towers?

No. Same architect and same developer, but different areas. Nanjing Tower is in the new Hexi CBD. Hunan Lu project is in the city center.

There is only one design. AEDAS is the architect, Suning is the developer.

According to a gov release this month, this project has been drastically revised downwards to just 400m, 82 floors. No info about the design, maybe it'll be changed.

And here it is another version of the same design, 380m, 88 floors. Some renders in the link

Well we can't say that a downsize of 50 meters is a big deal for such tall structures.
It's a beautiful tower, as long as they don't change the design, 380 or 450m is high enough to be noticed

In skyscrapers.cn they say that they wont build this design.

This project will be displayed at a supertall summit in Shanghai in late March. I don't really know anything about that summit, but Chongqing IFC, and Shenyang Rich Gate among others are also highlighted projects to be displayed according to the website. Hopefully they'll release some clear info about the 3 projects then.

This one is likely to be the final design, around 90 floors. I think it's also by AEDAS, but I'm not sure.

But the two towers swirling up was just way too good a design . Honestly the one design which would really mean taking it to the next level.
