i thought china was finally going to get a good designed supertall too... not another bland thing like this....but i do say the inside is quite amazing looking

Not sure if i have seen this design before around here, but this is the rejected design by Foster + Partners for Nanjing Tower.

Not of a fan of its podium though, a little bit over done.

The building under construction next to Shanghai Tower is Oriental Financial Center. The "plot" next to Jinmao is reserved green belt and no skyscraper will be built there.

I love the rejected design, and would love to see it get built somewhere, but I really don't think it would have suited this site anyway.
