Akkulam Tourist Village is one of the prominent tourist hot spots.

Trivandrum Bye Pass, passes through the heart of Akkulam.

A number of residentail & commercial projects are coming up in & around Akkulam.

May be the cost of reclamation also they shall be recouping from this alloted funds, I think.

I don't said Akkulam is not important. But it canot be tagged as the heart of the city


I don't visit Tvm since my Sis and her husband got transfer from there in 2004

Aerens plans big for Kerala
The Aerens Gold Souk Group has outlined a Rs 1,000 crore expansion plan for Kerala over the next five years.
The group is in the process of identifying strategic locations at Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kollam, Kottayam, Kannur, Kozhikode and Palakkad for various residential and commercial projects, said Ashish Gupta, vice chairman and joint managing director.

But the guy who posted the news was pretty sure about the fact...he claimed that a person working there told him about the showroom being set up at calicut....i think it was SIMPLICITY who posted the news....sorry if its not him....iam not sure who posted the news...

I have clearly mensioned in that post that it was just a word from one of the showroom guy who was there at that point when i visited there...

It looked true to me also because they were doing some rennovation work to that showroom....

may be they are waiting for some kind of approval or so..i dont know...

I also heard this news some few months before(last october), that koyenko to loss their Tata dealership and going to host BMW banner instead.

Now i think KVR, RF and Hyson are fighting for Tata dealership in city.
