NS Shopping has just purchased the PiCity land for around 400 million dollars (4525 billion won). It will probably be a completely different project.

NS Shopping's stock took a 10 % tumble today as a result of this acquisition.

Do people think it was an unwise purchase, an overpriced one, or just a project not likely to do well? A 10% drop seems quite bad.

I Don't really know... I try not to follow stock markets in relation to urban development. I don't want to "fall down the rabbit hole" any deeper. But I guess a combination of all of the reasons you mentioned.
