When they say it will be 'located above the northern wing' does that mean theyre building on top of that bus terminal?

Im glad the building has spikes up top. A flat top would have done harm to the design imo

That's just the mock-up model made from balsa, plywood and plastic to give an idea of the shape, or building envelope.
The end result of any project by Richard Rogers will be finely detailed.

This project is, well, interesting, to say the least. To me, it kind of look like giant LEGO blocks stacked on top of each other. However, I do like the spikes at the top, will definitely make it stand out on the skyline, even if it is only 42 floors. Gonna keep an eye on this project for sure.

I really like it. The other designs in the competition were pretty good, but this is nice.

It's being built on top of another building.

The beams extending from the tower look to have the same kind of shape as Hancock in Chicago.

But let's see how the cladding would be like in real situation...perhaps it can mitigate the design...

It's very hard to judge this tower by looking at this model. It might end up really cool and futuristic, or just plain industrial. I guess it'll all depend on cladding.
