We don't have accurate floor elevation figures for 4WTC. At least not after they added additional floors. Don't blame Kanto.

Under the original design, the setback was 691' 10" high. They since added two more office floors before the setback. Given the reported 13' 6" height of the office floors (reported by STR IIRC), then that should make the current setback 718' 10" high. I don't have the exact measurements for the height of the mechanical floor, but I believe it to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 23'.

I think I gave the 600' height for level 50. On further reflection I must have been off by about 25-30 feet.

T4 is currently at level 52 (which is about to increase by 2 any day now). So subtracting 23' for the mech floor, and 3 office floors (40'), that should make T4 about 655 feet tall at the moment. Though you could add a few more feet in height for the column splice..................

The height diagram works well with 1 wtc. But it's boring as hell with 4Wtc.

Thank you for the diagram, Kanto! Not sure if it's 100% accurate or not, but that doesn't really matter right now, IMHO. It still helps with the current perspective (or lack thereof).

When does the building "become" a trapezoid?

4 floors remain until the trapezoid floors start. However as spectre said earlier, I can't tell you exactly how many meters or feet that is. Also, different diagrams give different numbers. Cullwulla's diagram says the trapezoid floors should start at 211 meters, however the SSP diagram made by STR makes it appear as if they would start at 218 meters

Now I know why I'm confused. Conflicting sources...

And it gets even more confusing. We actualy don't even know what is the true height of 1WTC. STR and the SSP thread say it's 1373 feet however the SSC thread and SSP diagrams say it's 1368 feet. Worse is, both measurements are apparently true when measured from a certain spot

We know the true numbers at 1WTC, just need to know the elevations.

Quit spreading false information. We know exactly how tall 1WTC is. The only thing that matters is which side of the building you're measuring from. Just because YOU don't know doesn't mean WE don't know.

I'm sure he was just trying to prove a point. To be honest, if it weren't for his post last night, I wouldn't have paid much attention to the more recent ones regarding the height.

What happened to the construction of the trapezoid floors? Were the floorsshorter than first thought or did they increase the towers height?

Sure thing, I'll do it. Expect a new diagram in a few hours
