Will they stall at the set back level for a while or will they continue on immediately as with the full size floors? Hope it doesn't delay it too much. I want that Liberty Place building passed ASAP.
Usually mech floors take much longer than regular floors. The floors and walls are much thicker, thus more concrete. The lower floors are mechanical and those took much longer than the office levels. It'll be interesting to see how the next two floors go up. The mech floor is almost twice the height of an office floor.

Fun fact, the mech floor doesn't seem to be numbered in the normal sense. It's probably called "55M" is my guess. But looking at the profile on loopnet (link below), they number the floors continuously.

Nice photo!

And of course the toilets int the background. Just think, if a construction worker sh**s down the building.... A piece of sh*** gets a nice speed from this height...

Good to see, that the building is growing so fast. It's such a great tempo they're constructing at the moment ...

Glad to see they are keeping their stuffed-horse mascot up top. First time I've seen it since I spotted it in July.

Like a small brown asteroid

Btw, can anybody confirm my actual height guess of 208 meters?

Haha, kind of ironic.. the horse is the whip-cracker.

Anyone know more details about this "mascot"?

I'm pretty sure he was speaking only theoreticaly

Btw, here is my new NYC construction roof diagram now with 157 as well. It should be noted that the height of 4WTC and of 157 isn't 100% precise. If anybody has precise info about the heights of 157 or of 4WTC, please lemme know

1WTC = 319 meters or 1047 feet out of 418 meters or 1371 feet
4WTC = Approximately 208 meters or 682 feet out of 298 meters or 977 feet
157 = Approximately 125 meters or 410 feet out of 306 meters or 1005 feet

(Note: I used the 418 meter figure for 1WTC when measured from the lowest above ground entrance and I used the 298 meter figure for 4WTC.)

Nice diagram!

@DinoVabec:
I know, that the sh*** stays in the toilets, and doesn't fall down the building.
That would be a horror, if every day some brown shit flies trough NY.....

Yes Kanto, I was speaking theoretically
btw, there are some great pics take by Otie. Thank you for your efforts

Yes... soon there'll be more buildings of the 21st century than of the 20st in the "NYC Top 10" (counting out American International's spire).

And 4WTC has really 208m already? In comparison, HSBC Bank appears way taller, e.g. on the "Pink Manhattan Twilight" that Otie has posted yesterday (one of many great finds, thank u!). Looks more around the 192m of 123 Washington to me.

What's happening in the plot across the memorial park from WTC1 in Otie's picture? Strangely I haven't noticed it before.

They're building there the vehicle security center. Also, in the future there'll be most probably a skyscraper there too but so far we don't know anything about it's design or height but judging by the fact that towers 2 and 3 might go on hold until there are tenants for them, it'll take quite some time before we'll see something rise on that spot
