Very nice!

But, every single rendering I see of the WTC site, has all of the towers included. Which is good, but unfortunately not realistic when it comes to what NYers will actually be seeing for a number of years and that is just 1WTC and 4 WTC.

So could anyone bother to make a rendering including just the 1WTC and 4WTC? I would be really interested to see who the skyline will look like from NJ or the Statue of Liberty, or Brooklyn side.

Would really appreciate it!

This tower will look splendid when completed. It has modern and traditional touches that make it a beauty next to 1 WTC.

Now the glass is up to the last level which is fireproofed (except for the NE corner). I wonder when they continue with fireproofing..

Here ya go

Important note! This rander was not made by me. STR on SSP made it. For more such renders by STR visit this SSP thread: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...186833&page=10

In my opinion the skyline will look good like this. I'd say better than with towers 2 and 3, even though a bit eerie because of the resemblence with the half hour after the collapse of the South Tower and before the collapse of the North Tower. 1WTC will be the only tower of importance to the skyline. 4WTC is way too small to be of any signifficance

Correct.

There at the 59th floor (or 51st under the old count) right now. There are 12 more office floors, plus 1 official mechanical floor (the 72nd). But really it has 3 mech floors at the top. So 15 floors left.

59th floor is 745 ft 5 in high. Plus about 4 or 5 ft to the column splice. Call it 750 feet high ATM.

Nice avatar BTW!

I feel kind of bad for that black building in the back, Four World Trade Center completely took over its view of the river.

This doesn't look good at all. We need Towers 2 and 3 to make this work, otherwise that hole in the skyline is still going to be there.

Kinda morbid, but it reminds me of what the skyline would have looked like if only the South Tower had collapsed and the North Tower had been repaired.

I don't think towers 2 and 3 are gonna fix this. In my opinion even when the entire new WTC will be completed the skyline will still not look OK. Libeskind's site plan is an epic fail in my opinion
