Looks like there has been zero steel progress on 4WTC. Just like 2 weeks ago there are spandrel beams but no floor beams for the top floors

The rests of the former crane platform attached to the east side have been fully removed. So cladding can catch up on the NE corner the next days/weeks!

How is this comparable in size to BoA? This building is HUGE in person, I was totally surprised considering this is the smallest of the four

It is comparable in size since it's only 10 meters taller than BoA

It is funny to think that 20 years from now this building will get lost in the rest of the towers. The Shard is only 40 something feet taller but might as well be 1000.

Definitely. This building doesn't have a spire so it'll be structuraly ready approximately in April or May and I can't imagine that it would take them more than a year after topping out to get finished with the interior Just my 2 cents

Actually it will. And I know you hate them, but spires mean nothing in this conversation. Take a look at the Burj Khalifa and the International Commerce Center. I know they are much taller than 4WTC, but they were both externally complete in 2010, but as I recall, neither are complete internally.

April or May this year, or April or May next year? The latter would be a much closer estimate as to when this building will be complete.

Something to take into consideration is that the Burj was opened as early as possible for the whole WTB thing, so I would bet almost nothing was complete inside at opening time.

With April or May I meant this year but I meant only the steel topping out of both buildings excluding 1WTC's spire

The black building behind it SERIOUSLY needs a re-painting.

You mean One Liberty Plaza? It was repainted after 9/11, but I agree, it really does need touching up.
