Yes it has been progressing about a floor a week or so.

the glass on 4wtc is just stunning... but I think these photos illustrate clearly that we need 2WTC and 3WTC to bridge the gap between 1WTC and 4WTC

I like this cladding it almost looks like one plain sheet of glass. Or one giant mirror.

Hopefully tower 3 goes up asap and they don't have to stop, that way the gap between 1 and 4 is filled in better...2 going up would deff look better but 3 will do the job just fine..can't wait till this one is done though deff gonna be amazing=]

Concrete on the four western columns has reached the setback, I wonder if the operating eastern crane will soon transfer the formwork to the part above the setback..

you know right now 4wtc looks like the times square tower, it has a trapezoid base and cuts off to a couple of triangular floors. Look up the times square tower.

By NYatKnight, also reports glass going in the SW corner of the podium. If someone can get a screengrab from KPI site, would be much appreciated. I don't have Silverlight at work.

I don't see it on the KPI web cam yet.

Update, as of 11 am they are working there. But I can't see any actual glass.

Here you are. Which side is SW anyway?

The side you are directly looking at is the north side, and the side to the right of the building is the west side. So from that cam you see the north and a bit if the north west side. You can't see the south west side there.

There is no visible cladding on the west side either. Maybe he meant it is on the western part of the south side, where there is no web cam.

I know they are on floor 65 at the moment. The elevation drawings Otie provided to me don't quite jive with the final height figure of 977 feet we've been told. But according to his drawing, 4WTC is 826 ft 5 in. high (add a few more feet to the column splice). The discreptiancy is likely to where the architects start counting from the ground floor. If 977 feet is correct, then all you need to do is add ~11 feet to the figures given.

The rest of the building goes
66- 839 ft 11 in
67- 853 ft 5 in
68- 866 ft 11 in
69- 880 5 in
70- 893 11 in
71- 907 5 in (last office floor)
72- 922 ft 1 in (mech floor)
72m- 953 ft 9 in
Top of parapet- 966 ft 1 in
