I've updated my diagram with the latest progress

Roof height used below!

1WTC = 388 meters or 1274 feet out of 418 meters or 1371 feet
4WTC = Approximately 265 meters or 868 feet out of 298 meters or 977 feet
157 = 248 meters or 815 feet out of 306 meters or 1005 feet

(Note: I used the 418 meter figure for 1WTC when measured from the lowest above ground entrance and I used the 298 meter figure for 4WTC.)

So 33m missing here while only 30m left on 1 WTC. But this one will jump again pretty soon..

I personaly think 157 will be the first to top out because it used to be way below 4WTC but now it is nearly at its height. I guess it's so fast because of its far simpler structural design

Telephoto lens. Guessing something bigger than the 800mm, maybe a 1200mm.

No actually it was a normal point and shoot, the moon naturally looked like that on Saturday because of the Supermoon. No one here heard about that? 🌙

You would still need a good deal of zoom to get it this big into the picture.
Amazing shot anyway.

It's from Eagle Rock, about 13 miles away. I took this one last year with only 10x of zoom, not much really. Like I said, the moon in that picture naturally looked like that, and looked that close. That's exactly what it looked like in person, no zoom makes it different

A photo taken in darkness with frozen plane movement indicates a high shutter speed. To achief this you need a fast lens (large aperture / lens opening). Fast tele lenses (see Otie's example) are not exactly cheap.

The moon shot is incredible bytheway

You don't need a DSLR to achieve that..I have a super zoom with a fixed 30x lens and it's excellent in the dark and can do a 30 second shutter
