Took this 30 miles out in Morristown, New Jersey-4 World Trade Center began to rise over the hills recently and is a great addition to the view.

Via the ferry--almost like the Twins rising again. Obviously one will be much shorter than the other, though.

Why, oh why, aren't they repainting that black building behind it? It's so faded and looks messy.

I'm confused, almost every source says 72 floors except CTBUH which says like 64 or 68..which is right..?

CTBUH uses the old flloor count on all WTC buildings, so it's them who's not up to date. Also, they still have old height figures for the Hudson Yards Towers.
And the NYC- CTBUH page is missing a couple of 100m+ towers U/C. SSC and SSP are far better sources.

Question:

When you look at the 7WTC cam on the KPI TV cams, look at the construction going on to the right of 4 WTC.

What is that triangular shaped frame for, and what is the building to the right of it?

That is the Vehicular Security Center (VSC). The steel framework that is beginning to take shape will form the spiral ramp that will allow vehicles to access the subterranean levels of the WTC complex.

Does anybody know how they place the cladding in these buildings? Do the cranes lift each window at a time?

The cranes are not used to install the glass. They are lowered from the floor directly above.
