From that last picture, you almost can't that tell there is a setback.

Yeah, I sort of wish they'd kept the vents all the way across on the mechanical floor just to break up the pattern of the glass. Looks good either way though.

now that parapet steel is almost done i assume and concrete is nearing the top, maybe glass will speed up heavily

I was somewhat hoping for that too, but i think theyre trying to just make a giant kingdom of mirrors on the wtc. It should look very good when complete! I actually kind of wish they wouldve made 4wtc a whole lot wider.

I agree, that shot does a good job capturing the different "eras" of architecture. It's like you can see history. San Francisco has some older buildings but certainly not to Chicago or New York's extent.

Even though it's not a reliable source, wiki is saying that glass will be complete by the end of August.

Why is that One World Trade Center can do like two floors a day but 4WTC can only do one floor per week.
