Now that 1WTC's title has been changed to Completed, shouldn't we do the same for this one too? It still misses a bit of cladding on one side, but so does 1WTC.

No. All of that still belongs to this project. The reason 1 WTC is complete is because the unfinished parts are part of a different project.

according to the PA and the majority stakeholders, you mean?
If 1 WTC is complete, so is this tower. A good chunk of the tower is already outfitted for tenants.

Just the cladding around the edges of an entrance that is taken up by an adjacent project is missing on 1WTC. And they probably wont add it for a long time. This however has a strip of cladding missing where there is a construction elevator.

Can you just imagine how this thing will shine when it's been cleaned?

Cleaning has actually begun on this. And hoist removal began yesterday.

I didn't see any BMUs in action today, but it was fiercely cold and windy.

IEX Relocates to 4WTC from 7WTC

"IEX, a start-up stock market, is moving from 3,600 square feet at 7 World Trade Center to 13,000 feet at 4 World Trade Center, both Silverstein Properties buildings, the developer announced.

The firm signed a seven-year lease on the 44th floor of the 56-story, 2.3-million-square-foot building and will move in April 2015..."

Good for them. IEX is that stock exchange that eliminates the exploitation of high speed trading.

According to the article the building is 56 stories.... did they make a typo because this thread topper has it listed as, and I had not seen any changes to, 72 floors.

looks like 4 WTC is about half outfitted. Soon it'll be rid of those annoying construction lights. Workers will have a spectacular view until 3 WTC blocks it.

I'm kinda unsure how to credit this photo. I went to the movies earlier and saw a preview for the upcoming "Annie" remake staring Jamie Foxx. They use 4WTC as the headquarters for "William Stacks" which is based off the character Oliver Warbucks from the original. Anyway this is a screenshot from the trailer I loaded on iTunes.

I found it interesting that Hollywood is using 4WTC as opposed to 1WTC for this sort of "headquarters." It may have to do with 1WTC being so iconic and associated with the rebuilding of the WTC as a whole (as most people outside the city would not think that 4WTC is part of the complex). I just thought this was interesting and I think 2WTC will also hold the same kind of iconic Hollywood "headquarters" image when it's completed.

For a moment there I thought they renamed 4 WTC 5 WTC.

Well, having 4 WTC be the headquarters of William Shacks isn't exactly going to help people realize there are 4 buildings to the WTC and not just one.
