There are 14 more floors left, so give it about 3.5 months. The 47th floor will probably take a bit longer to build because it's a mechanical floor. So I don't expect the smaller office floors to start right away.

Is it just me or does the foot print of WTC 3 look really small in the above picture?

Does anyone know how the dimensions of the floors of the respective WTC Towers compare?

There's no sin in calling the twin towers ugly. Most buildings in the 60's early 70's were. People don't remember the twin towers because they were beautiful. They remember them because their was two of them.

1WTC is 205 by 205 feet
STR says 2WTC is 80 by (I think) 320 feet, but I'm almost certain he made some kind of typo here
3WTC (above the base) is 198 by 200 feet

I'm not sure about 4 though, but when I asked this question about a month ago, STR replied and told me that each tower has about a 40,000 sq. ft floor plan.

You're gonna enjoy the next few years. You'll see 1 WTC top out, followed by 4, 3, and 2.... I'm gonna enjoy seeing the pictures (thanks for them, by the way)!

Also, Happy [belated] birthday!

No chance 2WTC would be just 80 feet wide.

That's what I thought as well, but that's what STR said to me.

Read some of my blog, seriously, NOT promoting
There you will find that they weren't just 'boxes'.

Sorry for being harsh, I just don't like when the twins are criticized

The height of the cladding now on 4WTC is about the height of the original low rise 4WTC.
