I like it, but not better than 1 WTC. 1 WTC looks good from all angles. 4 WTC can look bland depending on the sun. I think it'll look better when finished.

Is there a web cam that has a good view of WTC 4? I might want to watch it today - new steel should be going up.

New steel went up this morning. That's floors 34 and 35.

I can't wait till they reach the setback. It will change the perspective for me.

What exactly is in the little L shaped notch in the corner of the building? And why does it seem like there are no beams there?

Probably a decorative feature that also allows more corner offices.

Yup, it's purely decorative. All the weight is distributed by the outer beams and the core, so there isn't a need for any at the corners. Keeps the thing from looking too boxy.

^Though the southeastern corner doesn't feature that decoration.

Ah thanks. But they clad over it and make the building look boxy anyway :p

There's nothing bad on boxy design. I like boxy design

Btw, once this building passes 200m I'll start making progress diagrams for it

I never said anything was wrong with a boxy design. I asked why the L was there in the corner if they clad over it to make it boxy anyway.
