How amazing would it be that at the topping out ceremony for one World Trade Center they announced that they got an anchor tenant for this tower and will begin construction!

I can understand the reticence of potential tenants to commit to the WTC site. I'm hoping that, after WTC1 is opened and the transit hub is complete and bustling with the activity of everday office workers, life will return to normal there and the fears will subside. I am not sure, if I were looking for office space for my company, my first choice would be in the middle of a construction zone/three-ring media circus/terrorist target overlooking a never-ending funeral. Instead, some non-descript office building in midtown might be more desireable - especially at the same cost or less.

Some would rather reach for the heavens than hide in the shadows.

It'll be a great day when this entire project is completed, whenever the hell that may be. Early 2020's at this rate probably. The chain link fencing and barren construction detracts a bit from the memorial site.

There're really a lot of sun reflection - when I was at the ground zero, the sun is really nuisance. But it's such beautiful to see that the towers are mirroring the surroundings like Hancock Tower in Boston.

I agree. The 'mirror' of 4WTC is just perfect.

Looking forward to see cladding on 3WTC. When will they start with that?

Ugh having the podium is such a tease I wish they would find a tenant already Although to me the podium kind of reminds me of one of the smaller buildings in the original complex, in a weird way....

What is it they are building alongside the transportation hub, opposite side to WTC3?
