Oddly enough, real concerts will at some moment be held just a few steps from Tower 3.

the glass is a lot more transparent from that angle, looks like it also catches some of the greenery of the memorial

I think it looks rather bad ass. It probably always was the intention with these heavy beams and columns.

Looks so much like one of the old low rises that used to be there...

Cladding looks incredible. Reminds me of those first few sections placed on 1WTC in every other space. This building is definitely the most masculine of the 4.

Actually I think it looks better form that angle! Strong looking, and the exhaust openings are part of Rogers' industrial architecture style.

It's like a nod to the former 4,5,6 WTC

According to wikipedia there is no 6WTC. There's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 WTCs. Maybe the sixth survived?

Or perhaps the memorial building or Transit hub or Performing Arts Center.

Silverstein has yet to announce an official 6WTC proposal or existing facility.

I can see the Museum or the Performing Arts Center becoming 6 WTC, not the VSC.

Same here. I highly doubt a separate commercial building will be constructed to take that label considering how the facility is doing right now.

There were rumors back in April that GroupM may have signed a contract for ~500K square feet, but it appears that they were only rumors.

SS'13: Only the podium is under construction. The offices will not commence construction until a tenant is found. If one isn't found in the next 6 months, this will be on hold as well.

It was true that they were close to a deal... deals don't happen overnight
