This.

Not only is it a negotiation with Silverstein, it's also a negotiation with New York City, New York State (for possible tax abatements and inducements) and possibly with the Port Authority. That complicates the process for an anchor tennant. Additional tennants may only have to deal with Silverstein, depending on how large their needs are.

I hate the exhaust ports. But like the black venting. At least people will see a more finished looking building and not some hulk of bare steel and concrete.

I have a massive project in the works. It's a video portfolio, but I'll post it here when finished. I have a lot to go.

PS. I think the larger glass panels are ten feet wide!

Hahaha. You were right, Swiddle. The exhaust vents does look like Audio Jacks.

And great work as always, Pmad.

I kinda like the vents now that there's trim and glass to complement it.

Nice. I hope for him that they don't change the design again.

Well, his model isn't totally correct anyway, because its based on the tower before it had its height decrease. In other words: his model is too tall. But I really appreciate his work and I think his models look great

Actually, the model is based on the decreased height design.

Well, one could argue that 7WTC is not directly located on the WTC site. It's a bit off-center from the main plaza.

The X-bracing is missing too, so yeah it's pretty close to reality.

Actually, the X bracing other than what's on the model has been eliminated from the building too, so the model is very true to the design.

Thanks for posting the link. That model is so large that 2 and 3 WTC go through the ceiling and 1WTC is missing it's top 1/3 in the picture of it on display. Looks like he based them on renders because the only image I see laying out in the shop is that render of the top of 1WTC. Careless of how he made it, WOW!

Edit: the west M1280d in the Hub is lifting white cubes to the north side of 3WTC and they appear to be going into the mechanical floors. I guess they are unable to use the crane already on the tower.

Anybody else think the glass looks a bit blackish? Its trim is definitely dark grey unlike the blue cladding trim of 1WTC.

I'm pretty sure this will appear the darkest of the WTC towers, because the sample for 2WTC was lighter than this.

Yes it will have a darker look. I hoped the columns and beams would be dark as well.

if they arent using the crane at 3wtc, why dont they remove it! theres more concrete that need to go on the floors beneath it. if the tower gets a tenant they can reerect the crane.
