The x bracing obstructs views. Even though most of us would like them back. $ runs the world.

Unfortunately, the foundations have already been modified and completed.

I personally like it better without the X bracings. It looks a lot cleaner and sleeker.

I like the current design. It seems to flow better with the other towers. The x bracing didn't look pretty good especially next to Tower 2.

The load bearing system has been modified, heck even some columns were re-arranged. Not going to happen.

Not terrible. Certainly better than just T1 and 4.

Shoot, the gap is almost more noticeable with Tower 3 there. Two buildings of descending heights don't make a pattern, so you could look at 1 and 4, and sort of imagine they're unrelated. But three buildings of descending heights definitely do.

Fingers crossed Silverstein can carry some of that momentum into WTC 2.

Well On the Brooklyn side, with T3 there won't be an gap at all since T2 will later on block T1 from here. I think from Williamsburg, Greenpoint & LIC there won't be an noticable gap either. Only NJ will see the non existence space.

It just depends on the angle. And som patience may be needed for 2WTC.

Maybe the noticable gap will speed things up for the building.

I doubt that. Larry needs money to build this, public opinion won't give it to him
