On this one (T3) maybe a 30-40 ton tower crane, it could be a Link-Belt or a Favco

DinoVabec- Yeah the 40th floor, corner room. I stayed there the 22nd and 23rd (February) just to view the bathtub and take photos and videos. Thanks!

Well, what a nice building!!! I'm from the tiny country Belgium in Europa.
The highest building is 150m and has 38 floors. We still have to learn a lot from the americans i think

Looks like Silverstein Properties is close to leasing up 7WTC.

LMCCC tweeted,

"7 WTC may land midtown law firm, WilmerHale which is reportedly negotiating for 200,000 sq ft, Real Estate Weekly reports."

A shame they won't sign on at 3WTC, 200k sq ft would be half the amount needed to secure public funding for it. But still a great sign.

I love the fact that the ground is covered by concrete instead of dirt/mud now. Finally!

I for one particularly like that inscription " Spring Has Sprung..." by the corner of the construction site.

floor count has changed! http://www.wtc.com/about/office-tower-3

Quote:
3 World Trade Center at 175 Greenwich Street will be the third-tallest building on the World Trade Center (WTC) site. Designed by Richard Rogers of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the tower will be situated at the center of the various buildings around the memorial.

The 80-story tower
will rise 1,170 ft feet above street level and include 2.5 million square feet of office space spread across 53 floors and five trading floors. The footprint of a typical floor will be approximately 200 feet by 198 feet. At ground floor level, the footprint of the building will be 50,000 square feet. At trading floor level - the widest level - this will increase to 65,300 rentable square feet.

175 Greenwich Street will have five retail levels - one on the ground floor, two below-grade levels, and two levels above the ground floor.

3 WTC will incorporate 44 passenger elevators serving the main part of the tower plus four freight elevators. The trading floors will be served by eight separate passenger elevators. The retail floors will be served by two passenger and two freight elevators. In addition, there will be two principal stairwells in the main part of the tower, increasing to four stairwells in the lower part of the building.
