Sweet! It's about time they started working in earnest on the core and steel columns.

Will these cranes rise outside of the building instead of inside like 1,2 and 4?

Hahaha, I bet. I knew they were not symmetrical like everyone expected, but wow they look awkward. Nevertheless, very nice work man.

You get used to them. They move from ordered to chaotic depending on angle, the latter reminding me somewhat of a flower. Like a rose, it's not really symmetrical, but there's still order and beauty to it.

But the official renders have cherry-picked the angles.

Can't wait to see this thing rise above ground. My favorite tower on the site.

Is there any reason why the two cranes on the 2 WTC site are a good deal higher than this one?
In other words, could this be a sign that they expect to continue to build above grade on the tower 2 site?

This will be another great addition to the wtc site. I was thinking it would be cool if they had different colored glass in those X's with maybe a green glass in the center and a normal blue colored glass in the outside. But that might look too crazy.

I bet one of the first things it does is take down and haul out the crawler crane that put it up.

I wouldn't read too much into the difference in hight, different buildings, different contractors, different needs.
