LOL. I don't mind, mercenary can be a bit of a troll. The best anti-aircraft system is another fighter jet. Not a submarine. Getting this sort of WTC related, there are missile defenses around NYC to protect the area. As well as plenty of jets (USAF, NG, Reserves).

Our sub force has better things to do than hide in the Hudson River waiting for another hijacked 767 to appear.

There's a bunch of blue netting around the core.

Looks like there's also a lot of scaffolding in the eastern portion of the core.

I will really celebrate when a crane appears.

Also, it's so nice to see people walking alongside 4WTC. The site is returning to life!

Looks like the "cocoon safety system" they used for 1 and 4 WTC.

I just got updated info (finally) and according to my documents, the crawler will be coming next week due to a slight delay and remain on Cortlandt until September installing all three tower cranes. They are currently determining if Cortaldnt should be remained open due to safety concerns.

It's just a baby, probably just putting supplies on the roof. If not big enough to really pick up anything of any consequence.

Do you mean remain open during construction or remain open permanently? I'd be surprised if NYPD change their thinking as far as keeping a closed because of security issues!

They are thinking about closing it off during the crane being there, the crawler that is. It will be in the now closed off section of Cortlandt, near the south side of T3.

AFAIK, the bay crane that is positioned in Cortlandt is going to be used to assemble Mr. Manitowoc 888. Earlier I mentioned that the crawler would be positioned in the closed off section of Cortlandt, so that bay crane there now is likely being used to assemble the Manitowoc.
