OK....that's what that thing's for.....thought it kinda weird that it would be a base for yet another tower crane.

It's been sitting on the south side of the core. You can see it in the reflection on T4,,

I think that's it?

I know it's off-topic for this specific thread, but the Transportation Hub is going to look pretty damn stunning from this angle...

Will it be installed where the "black" crane is now? (Or at least the black "tower"?)

One goes there, another one will go where that big hole is on the West side.

Looks like a big concrete pour going on. Pump has been working all day and there are several trucks parked at the base of the tower.

I thought that mast would work with the Favco.
Guess not.

They are removing the "black" mast, and replacing it with another? Is it because the "black" mast was not adapted for the job?

It will be replaced with the Favco 760's mast, which looks pretty similar to that.

Nope - the whole system will be taken down, not just the mast.

Sorry I am A little confused. They are going to take down the jacking system? Seems like the system was custom built for 3 WTC would require major rework to be used on another project. I cant see it being cost effective since it has sat idle for 2 years to this point. If they were going to trash it why didn't they do it two years ago when they knew they could not use the TG crane in NY. Just curious, seems like a slight waste of money.
