Next floor is start of mechanical, so prepare for it to slow down significantly.

At least steel resumes in 2 floors!

In the new complex there will be a total of 6 towers, (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (TBD), and 7 WTC) Towers 1, 4, and 7 are already built, and Tower 2 is on hold. Whether there will be a Tower 5 is yet to be determined

This kind of news is just enough to give us skyscraper fans a steel-superstructure erection of our own.

Why should it "slow down significantly"....just because it's a mechanical floor?

The tower 2 should be built directly after 1WTC or the same time, because 2WTC is more or less so beautiful like Freedom Tower. That 4 "diamonds" are amazing !

Well its way too late for that to happen.

Yes, but is there actually a transition in the core? From what I can make out upon what's been built so far and existing diagrams, shouldn't be much if any transition in the core at all.

I know and regret that the towers weren't built just in order of their numbers - now we would have the two greatest (1 & 2) already built...

It's funny seeing everyone's rank-ordering of the buildings. Mine's totally different: 3, 2, 4, 1, 7.
