The pace at which this tower is rising is absolutely phenomenal. I don't even remember 1 or 4 WTC rising this fast

The NE crane (Wolff) should be installed next month. The SW Favco, however, likely won't be here until July.

I certainly agree that it's rising quite quickly, imagine how fast it would be rising if they actually had the cranes that they were supposed to have! The degree to which NYC regulates Crane usage is ridiculous, the construction industry is the expert in Cranes not a politically oriented metropolitan department!! It's no wonder that construction costs in New York are so ridiculously high.

I understand them inspecting crane installations but I don't understand how they feel it's appropriate for them to determine what manufacturers of cranes can be used in the city.

4 went up fairly quickly. the first tower crane arrived in 2009 and it topped out in mid 2012. Tower 3 will probably take more time (minus the stalling) due to its height and the crown.

133 Greenwich street. In fact, obscured by 133 Greenwich is its direct neighbor 125 Greenwich, which will likely yield a new 400m tower.

I was asking about that flat (transportation ?) object, but I've seen thread/graphics linked by Skylimitone, and now I know it will be very low building covered by green on its roof
Transportation and/or parking function, I suppose

And 3WTC accelerates its construction progress

i imagine the industry did regulate itself, until there were some nasty problems and people died.

The Video on the Down elevated for the WTC observation deck says otherwise

There is plans for 5 WTC, however nothing set-in-stone, basically meaning don't expect anything for a while.
