Thanks. Is it planned to even out at any point, or will the floorplates remain uneven throughout construction?

It should even out eventually. Catching up pretty nicely right now.

It's a landmark art deco bank that was built in 1934, why should they tear it down? Because YOU think so? Or did you mean 22 Cortland Street, the tower behind it? I would agree with you there.

Looks like half of the terrace slab was poured.

The concrete that is important on the roof section has been done very strangely. Standard construction practice is to have a clean edge at the end of a pour in the age of that pour is anything but clean. You can see the unfinished aggregate outside of the finished section and it's obvious they aren't working on it to correct the issue. It will be interesting to see what they do with this.

I think the photo was taken in the middle of a pour. They just hadn't gotten to that section yet.

The top of the core is rapidly climbing out of the frame now. I wonder if they plan to adjust the angle of the camera so we can see the top again? I'd really like to see what's happening in the SW corner - that's where that first setback has taken place and the steel vertical column had been set.

That has to be the cleanest concrete core I've seen in awhile. Not sure if it's just aggregate used or keeping it clean or what.

They adjusted the 3 WTC cam up a little while ago, so I would think they will continue to do so.

But for now, here's a different angle to see the core progress.
