Wow this thing has surely passed the 200 meter mark already, haven't checked this thread in a while and didn't realize it shot up that quick.

It looks about 220-230 meters now or ~750 feet

Nice shot, ThatOneGuy. Interesting to see the double floor on the top of the core on the right. I assume that's for elevator mechanicals.

It's not a double floor - there will be a slab there, it will just get poured later.
If you look closely at the picture you can see the gray area with the stabox with the couplers for the rebars of the concrete.

So why the extra height on the core walls? For added durability in the transition to steel columns?

Outside lift removed from the north side of the core. Hudson cam continues to follow core progress. Top of 4wtc now in view.
