It's already probs taller than the tallest building in France hahaha. Man I love NYC
The tallest building in France is 231 meters so you're probably right.

Jesus Christ 2 WTC's shape looks hideously misshapen in that diagram.

OMG how ugly is WTC2
Hope they just put the drawing upside down?
But seriously speaking the initial project of it looked way better. I am crying.

God, it (2 WTC) even looks worse in this angle than the others. It's as though it was once part of the 1 WTC, cut out badly with a giant pair of scissors, then pushed over to the right a bit. What an eyesore!

No kidding. Its an architectural tragedy. Makes me wonder if Larry Shillverstein is trying to spite the city.

Let's stay on topic....this thread is supposed to be about 3WTC....which is still a BEAUTIFUL building....despite being "value-engineered".

Beautiful? Thats very arguable. This building looks like an average setback box with some cross bracing added as an afterthought. The original design was absolutely stunning, but Shillverstein probably never intended to build it as such.

Honestly I hated the cross bracing. I thought it made the building not match at all with the rest of the complex. Just keeping the side bracing was good enough.

I loved the cross bracing. The cross bracing being removed from the design upset me more than the spires being removed. None the less this will still be a beautiful building when finished. It's just a shame looking back at old renderings... what could have been.

The cross bracing and the spires were my favorite part of this tower. I loved that sleek futuristic industrial feel it had. I still like the tower, but with the exclusion of the cross bracing and the spires, it has lost much of that uniqueness it once appealed. It would have literally been one of a kind in New York City. For a building to be a one of a kind in New York says a lot.

I'm looking forward to steel and cladding to resume. Everything seems to have slowed down except for the core.
