Fotos taken by me, last week. Quality is not that great, reflections of the glass in WTC 1.

@skygreg1987: wtc2 is still in the basement.

They will continue climbing it by making the tower taller.

Thanks for the update! I guess now the cladding seems to be on hold. I haven't seen any progress on that for a while.

NEW YORK | 3WTC (175 Greenwich Street) | 329m | 1079ft | 80 fl | U/C

Wow, I really love how good 1WTC, 30 Park and the other thing in the middle (I always forget the name) look together. Especially in the first and the second shot.

Only the not finished 3WTC ruins the otherwise perfect picture a little. But luckily that won't be a problem anymore soon.

Yes but the core crane can cover everything that the NE crane is erecting (basically all the steel North and East of the core) so once the concrete is topped out and the concrete contractor does not need the crane anymore it makes sense for the steel erector to take over that crane and use it instead of the NE crane as no jump will be required (which will save time) and the leave-out can be eliminated.

The core crane could not reach far enough to erect the steel West of the core, so the SW crane will still be needed. It will start jumping externally with a "regular" climbing frame soon.

Wolff jumping now.

The core crane has been working today but no sign of a jump yet.
